Teracube 2e Review – A More Affordable Sustainable Smartphone

Teracube’s slogan is “Better for your pocket, better for the planet”.  In this Teracube 2e review we do a deeper dive to see if it lives up to the affordable yet sustainable smartphone slogan.

AndroidHeadlines did an early read on this device on launch day. I have been using the Teracube 2e for a little over a week in preparation for this review.

Before we dig into the Teracube 2e review let’s take a look at the company’s philosophy and why they believe their approach is more beneficial to the environment.

Earth and Environment Friendly

Smartphones’ biggest environmental impact comes from the manufacturing process and the e-waste when discarded. According to Teracube, in the U.S. alone, over 151 million cell phones are thrown into landfills every year. To help combat this, the Teracube 2e was designed to help reduce e-waste and smartphone turnover.

The technology is employed in the same way as in the $880 Yves Saint Laurent Cit-E backpack: a fabric module on the left shoulder strap (made easy to find by parallel lines of raised paint) is sensitive to your touch, allowing you to assign actions to gestures. They’re both available through Samsonite’s web shop.

Once you charge up the Jacquard module with the included micro USB cable, you slide it into place over the pins on the shoulder strap. It vibrates the bag when it’s correctly installed and is restrained with some fabric to keep it in place. You then use

Tesla’s Elon Musk unveils new battery technology that will see more affordable cars

TESLA IS WORKING on new battery technology that CEO Elon Musk says will enable the company within the next three years to make sleeker, more affordable cars that can travel dramatically longer distances on a single charge.

But the battery breakthroughs that the entrepreneur unveiled yesterday at a highly anticipated event did not impress investors.

They were hoping Tesla’s technology would mark an even bigger leap forward and propel the company’s soaring stock to even greater heights.

Tesla’s shares shed more than 6% in extended trading after Musk’s presentation.

That deepened a downturn that began during yesterday’s regular trading session as investors began to brace for a potential letdown.

Musk raised those worries with a series of tweets on Monday warning that Tesla’s new battery technology might not be ready for high-volume production until 2022.

He reiterated that timetable during yesterday’s showcase and then added it might take up to

Your options are Cloud Navy, Red, Orange, Mint, White and Lavender – all with the fingerprint-smear minimising ‘Haze’ finish, as seen in the S20 Mystic Bronze hue.

Tesla reveals new battery tech that will enable affordable EV

Tesla boss Elon Musk says the firm is working on a new generation of electric vehicle (EV) battery that will provide five times more energy and cost half as much as existing technology – but added that it’s at least three years away from production.

Musk said the new battery system, which uses larger cylindrical cells and will be produced in-house by Tesla, will enable the firm to launch an “affordable” $25,000 (£19,500) electric car, although he added “serious high-volume production” of that machine won’t be possible until 2022.

Developing such a car, which Musk promised would be able to “drive itself”, has been a long-held ambition for the American firm.

Musk made the announcement at a much-hyped Battery Day event, during which Tesla also revealed the specs of the range-topping Model S Plaid.

“We need to make more affordable cars,” said Musk. “One of the things that troubles me
