Building your own PC from scratch isn’t cheap, but it doesn’t have to be expensive, especially when we’re looking at PC components discounted with Prime Day deals. We’ve put together a gaming PC build that costs less than $900. It’s a capable build too, rocking a quad-core processor and enough graphics performance for solid 1080p and even some 1440p gaming.
While this is a more budget-focused build, there are deals that allow you to put together a more powerful PC for less, but with Black Friday just around the corner, it may be worth holding out on a component or two if you really want a specific part.

Amazon Prime Day is live and with it are thousands of deals on thousands of items, prominent among them tech devices across the spectrum Amazon devices to laptops and computers and smart home essentials — and while the first day of deals is winding down, the savings aren’t. The sale, which runs throughWednesday, Oct. 14 (as far as we know right now), offers up massive sales on significant items
Nintendo has some of the biggest mascots in videogames, from classics like Mario and The Legend of Zelda’s Link to new ones like the Octolings from Splatoon, but the real characters have always been the company’s signature controllers. As PC gamers, we often forget about controllers unless they’re a flight stick to complete our Star Wars: Squadrons loadouts or fighting sticks to dominate the best fighting games out there, but nostalgia can be a powerful thing.
Whether you switched from consoles and want a blast from the past or simply want the authenticity of retro gaming, you can now get miadore’s N64 controller and iNNEXT’s SNES gamepads cheaper than ever in the UK. Both are USB-based and will work with emulators on various Windows, Raspberry Pis, and even Mac OS X. You don’t even need to bother with downloading a driver, as they’re entirely plug-and-play.
Amazon Prime Day is here and although the new Xbox Series X and Sony PlayStation 5 are coming soon, there’s zero chance we’re seeing any discounts on these consoles. Luckily, there are still a ton of deals on games, gaming gear and accessories available over the next two days that are worth a look, including top Switch games marked down to $40 on Amazon.
There are also some great offers from Target, Best Buy and Newegg when it comes to Amazon Prime Day for gamers. We’re keeping an eye out for the best deals on all things gaming and will keep this list up to date with offers as soon as they arrive. Check out the latest below.
Amazon’s Prime Day is here but it’s far from the only sale you should pay attention to this week. While Prime Day lasts from Tuesday Oct. 13 to Wednesday Oct. 14, Walmart’s Big Save is going on at the same time. It matches many of Amazon’s deals and is live until Thursday Oct. 15. The deals just keep coming!
Much like Prime Day and Black Friday sales, the Big Save shopping event offers thousands of discounts on electronics, toys, home goods, fashion and more. Plus, you’ll get free two-day shipping on orders over $35 for eligible items. (Some orders will also be eligible for next-day delivery or in-store pickup, if you haven’t already signed up for Walmart Plus.)
Amazon Prime Day 2020 is here, and will run through to Wednesday, Oct.14. If you’re looking to score a great price on a new TV, the two-day shopping event includes big discounts on big screens from big brands such as Sony and Samsung, as well as lesser-known brands including Element and Westinghouse. For now, however, the best deals on TVs aren’t at Amazon at all, but instead at Best Buy, Walmart, Target and Sam’s Club. That may change as Prime Day continues but for now, you don’t need to be a Prime member — or shop at Amazon — to get the best TV deals.
We’ll keep updating this story with the latest Prime Day deals in this category as more

Upgrading a PC — especially a gaming PC — is never a cheap endeavour, but Prime Day deals are making it just that much more affordable. With deals on most hardware needed for a new build, you could theoretically run down this list and have a new PC shipped to you to assemble. Every part should have no issue working together, and really all you’d have to add are a few sweet gaming accessories. Hint: there are a ton of Razer Prime Day deals if you need a new keyboard, mouse, and headset.
Keep in mind, however, that this is a rather high-end PC when put together. You could always nab a few items while they’re on sale and save the rest for the next big sale. Black Friday is quite close due to the delay of Prime Day, so expect to see similar prices. Whether that means you wait … Read More
